Lemonade Spritzers
First, heat 3/4 cup sugar in 1 cup of water until sugar is dissolved. Then add your sweet syrup to about 3 cups club soda and about 2 cups fresh lemon juice (you can adjust these proportions to make it as strong or weak as you like). Add vodka if desired (about 1 1/2 oz per serving).
Serve over ice, and garnish with fresh lime rounds, strawberry slices, or even watermelon wedges.

Strip Steak with Arugula / Tangy Potato Salad
This is an absolutely perfect no-fuss summer dinner, and takes only about 20 minutes, start-to-finish. Just boil the potatoes while your steak cooks, and then toss them in the vinaigrette while the steak rests. (I served this alongside ears of sweet corn with lots of salty, garlicky butter…amazing.)

I served those lovely chicken and peach turnovers with a simple (and pretty) side salad:
Serves 2
2 large handfuls mixed greens
+ 1/2 avocado, diced
+ seeds & juice from 1/2 pomegranate (watch out for that stuff; it instantly stains anything it touches)

Vosges Barcelona Bar FYI
Just FYI?
The Vosges Barcelona Bar (deep milk chocolate, hickory smoked almonds & grey sea salt) is ridiculously good. Especially if you eat it the rather fussy way recommended on the label (take small bites, let it melt on the roof of your mouth to release the flavors, etc).
I don’t know that it’s quite a Mo’s Bacon Bar…but it’s close.
