How I Treat Minor Burns
1. Run the affected area under cool water for about 10 minutes to stop the burning process.
2. Pat dry (no rubbing) with a clean cloth.
3. Apply a soothing ointment (burn gel if you have it) and a loose bandage (do not wrap burns tightly).
4. Take an ibuprofen.

Wet Cell Phone Rx
My husband and father both have a little habit of destroying their phones by getting them wet, but it seems there’s a way to fix soggy cells! Just dry off all visible droplets, remove the battery, and place both battery and phone in a bowl of uncooked rice overnight: the rice will absorb the moisture, hopefully restoring things to working order.
